MUSEUMSHOF MEISDORF
Experience tradition and the future combined in a historic location
Travel from the past straight into the future on the grounds of the 17th century Meisdorf Museum Farm.
The lovingly maintained half-timbered buildings of the former ring farm are equipped with all kinds of agricultural tools and domestic utensils that illustrate everyday farm life and family life in days gone by.
The former barn of the farmstead houses a modern exhibition on the important topic of flood protection in the Harz Mountains, organized by the Saxony-Anhalt dam operators. Display boards and interactive elements describe the cycle of the wet element and show how we should use the precious resource of water sustainably in the future.
