To access the almost 500-meter-long hiking trail, cross the bridge over the Selke and turn right at night. A few hundred meters of the way you will be accompanied by the splashing of the Selke, which flows on the right.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tiny_p\">Then the path divides and you follow the fork to the left. Here the path climbs slightly to the next crossroads. Continue along the path on the right, which now winds its way through the forest. After about 140 meters follow the signs &#8220;Selketal-Stieg&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tiny_p\">For almost 90 meters you hike on this great long-distance hiking trail of the Selke valley. Your destination, the birch tree cottage, is on the right. Next to the refuge, benches invite you to linger and enjoy the view.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column customs and the promotion of nature conservation in the Harz
